Manchester City may be on the verge of not participating in the Premier League any longer. This emerges from the allegations facing the sky blue club.

115 allegations have been filed against the Sky Blues. They are accused of failing to comply with financial regulations. Among the accusations, the club is charged with making false financial declarations, providing incomplete details regarding employee payments (players/coaches), and not cooperating with the investigation. Additionally, the sponsorship revenues associated with the owners have allegedly been inflated intentionally.

All these charges could result in Manchester City's expulsion from the Premier League. According to English journalist Ben Jacobs, if this were to happen, Manchester City might find itself without a competitive platform in England. The English Football League has purportedly indicated its support for such a decision and may refuse to allow the Citizens to participate in its competitions.

For the moment, the club has declared its intention to appeal the ruling.
