Moataz Gamal, the head coach of Zamalek SC's first football team, held a meeting with the players before today's training session on Thursday at the auxiliary pitch of the Defense Ministry Stadium, in preparation for the upcoming match against Djibouti's AS Port in the second leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
The head coach urged the players to temporarily set aside thoughts of the league matches and focus on the encounter with the Djiboutian champions, aiming for a victory to secure qualification for the second preliminary round of the tournament.
Moataz Gamal Issues Warning to Zamalek Ahead of AS Port Clash
Moataz Gamal warned his players against underestimating their opponent, emphasizing the importance of concentration and putting forth maximum effort in training in preparation for the upcoming match.
Gamal discussed various tactical aspects with the players that will be implemented during training and provided specific instructions regarding each player's roles on the field.
Zamalek will host AS Port of Djibouti at 8 PM next Saturday at Cairo International Stadium in the second leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
It is worth noting that the first leg, held last Friday at Cairo Stadium, ended with Zamalek winning 2-1.
