PAOK Salonika has welcomed a new attacking asset. The Greek club announced on Monday, September 14, the arrival of Simon Banza, who has been loaned for a season from Al Jazira.
At 30 years old, the Congolese international striker has signed with PAOK until the end of the season. The agreement also includes an option to buy, while Banza will wear the number 24 in his new colors.
Having played for RC Lens, Béziers, and UT Pétange, the striker particularly shone in Portugal, notably with Famalicão and then Braga. He scored 23 goals in the league during the 2023-2024 season, his most prolific year.
After his stints at Trabzonspor and then Al Jazira, Banza now hopes to regain his optimal level in Greece.
