The national team for players born in 2009, under the guidance of head coach Hussein Abdel-Latif, achieved a victory over the Erosport team, born in 2007, with a score of 4-1 during a friendly match held at the Egyptian Football Association headquarters in 6th of October City.
The goals for Egypt were scored by: Yahya Riyad, Moaz Aboul-Fotouh, Fathi Suleiman, and Saif Karim.
The coaching staff for the youth team aimed to give as many new players as possible a chance to join the squad during this match.
The match was attended by Walid Darwish, a member of the Egyptian Football Association's board and the general supervisor of the team, and Mohamed Abou Hussein, another board member, along with Shawky Gharib, the head coach of the Egyptian Football Association.
The Egypt U-9 team is expected to play its second friendly match tomorrow, Friday, against the U-10 team, led by head coach Abdelsttar Sabri, who is preparing for the North Africa Championship qualifying for the Africa Cup of Nations.
It is worth noting that the youth team is preparing to participate in the Friendship Cup in Switzerland and the Gulf Cup for youth, in anticipation of the World Cup in Qatar, scheduled for next November.
