بوداش: “قررت تمثيل الجزائر ولن أشارك مع فرنسا”

The rising star of Olympique Lyon, Kyle Boudach, has made his international future clear, reaffirming his commitment to represent the Algerian national team over France.

The 20-year-old, who joined Lyon this summer from Nice, previously represented the French U17 team once before being called up to the Algerian U23 squad recently.

In an interview with the French newspaper “Le Progrès”, Boudach stated that his decision to choose Algeria remains unchanged even if he receives a call-up from the French team under Zidane's management.

Boudach responded clearly when asked about the possibility of changing his stance with Zidane now in charge of France: “Regardless, my choice will stay Algeria.”

He also emphasized that his dream is to compete in the biggest tournaments with the national team, particularly the World Cup finals.

Boudach did not conceal his connection to Algeria, concluding with: “I regularly go to Algeria. My family is from the Kabylie region, and every summer we return to our roots to reconnect with our heritage.”
