An Egyptian refereeing team led by Al-Qalawi will officiate the North Africa U-20 Championship.

The main arbitration committee of the Egyptian Football Association, chaired by Essam Abdel Fattah, has announced the selection of an Egyptian refereeing team consisting of three members to participate in the North African qualifiers for the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, which will be held in Egypt.

The Egyptian team is led by Hamada El Qalawy as the center referee, with Mohamed Magdy Suleiman and Islam Aboul Atta as assistants.

Egypt is set to host the North African qualifiers from September 21 to October 6, 2026, in the city of Ismailia, qualifying for the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations, which will take place in Ghana in February and March.

The North African qualifiers will feature the teams from Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, and Libya.
