Yassine Bounou, the first-team goalkeeper for Zamalek SC, is set to make his appearance in the upcoming match against Djibouti's AS Port, which will take place tomorrow, Saturday, at Cairo International Stadium, in the second leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
The Zamalek coaching staff, led by Moataz Gamal, is relying on a rotation system among the team's three goalkeepers: Yassine Bounou, Mohamed Sobhi, and Mehdi Slimane. Mohamed Sobhi played in the first leg against AS Port, while Bounou will take on the goalkeeping duties in the return leg.
Zamalek turns the tables on Djibouti's champions in the first leg
Zamalek secured a 2-1 victory over AS Port in the first leg and needs to maintain its advantage in the return match to secure qualification for the Round of 32 and continue its journey in the continental tournament.
The match will kick off at 8 PM tomorrow, Saturday, September 12, at Cairo International Stadium.
