After drawing 2-2 in the return leg of the first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League, Club Africain has successfully eliminated Djoliba AC.

Needing to recover after their 1-0 defeat in the first leg in Radès, the Malians of Djoliba started the match strongly.

In the 16th minute, defender Abass Kouyaté ignited the local crowd by scoring, bringing both teams level on aggregate.

However, the joy of the Reds of Bamako was short-lived. Stung in their pride, the Tunisians of Club Africain responded immediately.

In the 18th minute, forward Med Sadok Kadida, who had already scored in the first leg, capitalized on a defensive error from the Malians to equalize at 1-1.

In the second half, Araba Dakouo restored Djoliba's lead in the 58th minute. However, with five minutes remaining, Club Africain snatched an equalizer.

Following this draw, Club Africain qualifies for the next round of the CAF Champions League preliminaries with an aggregate score of 3-2.
