CO Korhogo advances to the second round of the CAF Confederation Cup after a 2-0 victory against AS PSI of Chad on Sunday evening in Côte d'Ivoire.
The players coached by Dao Lassina controlled the first half of the match at the Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium.
The only goal of the first period was scored by midfielder Adje Laurent Sandani, who opened the scoring in the 12th minute, igniting the Poro supporters.
In the second half, Butt doubled the lead for André Marc Any in the 56th minute. This goal sealed the fate of the match, which ended with an Ivorian victory of 2-0.
Thanks to this decisive win, combined with the draw in the first leg (2-2), the Ivorian club qualifies for the preliminary second round of the CAF Cup.
