The Montagnards have successfully arrived on the soil of Nelson Mandela, first passing through Johannesburg before reaching their base camp in Pretoria. This arrival comes under ideal logistical conditions for the Congolese team, determined to approach their continental clash with calm and ambition.
This journey takes place in a unique context for the representative from Goma, following the absence of the Seychellois club Bazar Brothers, who did not show up for the first leg initially scheduled in Lubumbashi. Unfazed by these administrative setbacks, the staff and players of Virunga remain focused on their goal and intend to secure their qualification on the field this Sunday.
Supported by a highly engaged Congolese community in South Africa and encouraged by the prayers of their supporters back in North Kivu, the Green and Whites display unwavering calm. All energies are fully mobilized to achieve this qualification for the next round and to continue their journey on the African stage with dignity.
