Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, former Minister of Youth and Sports and President of the African University Sports Federation, attended the events, ensuring his presence among the participating African delegations to monitor the side activities of the sports competitions and to confirm the provision of all comforts and services for African youth at the accommodation site.

The celebration featured folkloric and musical performances that reflect the diverse heritage of the participating African countries, along with performances by artistic troupes that received significant interaction from students and youth of African universities, contributing to cultural exchange and building bridges of communication and brotherhood among them.

Dr. Ashraf Sobhi confirmed during his tour that Egypt is keen to present an exceptional edition of the African Universities Games that integrates sports competition with cultural and humanitarian exchange, noting that Ain Shams University has provided an outstanding model in hosting and organizing the events and creating a comprehensive environment for Egypt's guests from various parts of the African continent.
