3 potential dates for the Egyptian Super Cup, likely to be held in February next year

The Professional Clubs Association, in collaboration with the Egyptian Football Association, is studying proposed dates for the Egyptian Super Cup.

Three dates are proposed for the tournament: the first in November, the second in December, and the third, which is considered the most likely, in February 2027.

4 Clubs to Participate in the Super Cup

The upcoming edition is expected to feature 4 clubs according to the tournament regulations, with Zamalek as the reigning league champion, Pyramids FC as the winner of the Egypt Cup, and Al-Masry SC as the champion of the League Cup.

The lineup for the tournament is completed by granting Al Ahly the opportunity to participate through a "golden card" invitation, ensuring the Red Devils a place in the anticipated competition that brings together the champions of the four local tournaments for the title.

According to the tournament regulations, Al-Masry, the champion of the Cairo Cup, will face Zamalek, the champion of the Egyptian league, while Pyramids FC, the Egypt Cup champion, awaits the fourth participant in the tournament via the golden card, which, according to sources, is Al Ahly.
