A player from Scottish club Hearts makes a special appeal to Mohamed Salah.

Kerguta mentioned that he has been in contact with his Albanian teammate Ernest Muçi, a player for Trabzonspor and his national team colleague, to try to arrange getting Salah's jersey after the match, according to British newspaper "The Sun."

Kerguta said: "For every player in the world, not just Hearts players, Salah is among the best. He is one of my role models, and I have always watched his matches to learn from him."

When asked if there is competition among players for the Egyptian star's jersey, Kerguta replied: "Will there be a struggle to get his jersey? I have already spoken with the Albanian player on their team, who plays with us in the national team, so I hope to be able to get it, and we will see what happens."

However, he jokingly added: "Still, I prefer to get the three points, so I hope Salah has a bad performance on Thursday!".

It is worth noting that Salah joined Trabzonspor during the summer transfer window, after an exceptional nine-year career with Liverpool, during which he achieved numerous accomplishments and titles.

He admitted that he is excited to face Trabzonspor since the draw for the tournament, especially with Salah in the Turkish squad.

The Albanian player expressed his wish to get Salah's jersey, but he also noted that he would be just as happy if the former Liverpool legend did not participate in the upcoming match between the two teams.
