Abdel Nasser Mohamed: Al Ahly did not seek to sign Sami, and the channel contracts do not exceed 5 million.

Abdel Nasser Mohamed, the head coach of Al Qanah Club, revealed details of his preparations ahead of the match against Al Ahly in the Egyptian Premier League, which ended in a draw. He explained how he managed his players, exploited defensive errors, and closed down spaces against the Red Giants.

Al Ahly's football team, under coach Hussein Ammouta, drew 3-3 with Al Qanah, led by Abdel Nasser Mohamed, in a match held this evening at Cairo Stadium, as part of the seventh round of the Premier League.

Al Ahly took the lead with a goal from Omar El Saai in the 18th minute, but Al Qanah equalized following a defensive mistake. Achraf Bencharki then restored Al Ahly's lead with a second goal in the 43rd minute, before Al Qanah equalized again and even took the lead with a third goal, only for Achraf Dari to score the equalizer in stoppage time.

Abdel Nasser Mohamed stated in an interview on the program "Number One," hosted by journalist Mohamed Shobana and broadcast on CBC: "I told the players to show up as men on the pitch; the result is not the most important thing, and they did just that."

He added: "I was trying to control their key players, like Bencharki and Imam, and we were closing them down. The only one who was trying to advance alone to pass the ball to Hani for a goal was Zizo, and I assigned one of the players to mark Zizo."

He continued: "At halftime, I spoke to them and said, God willing, we will equalize. Hazem Abu Sennah executed the instructions very well."

The Al Qanah coach explained: "I closed down the spaces against Al Ahly, and we succeeded in exploiting defensive errors."

He revealed details about motivating one of his players, saying: "I provoked Shalata and told him that Ammouta said he was considering Abu Sennah and one other player, but did not mention your name and ignored you. He told me: I will deliver the match of my life."

He added: "I played on the transitions and told Shaaban to play long balls, based on my observations of the matches, and I informed them that Al Ahly's defense makes many mistakes."

Regarding the financial situation within the club, he said: "The contracts I have are a maximum of 5 million Egyptian pounds."

He continued: "Thank God, the performance was very good, but the results are not helping us. We had scored a legitimate goal in the match against Tala'ea El Gaish, which was disallowed."

Abdel Nasser Mohamed concluded his statements by saying: "Al Ahly has not officially contacted us to negotiate the transfer of Ibrahim Sami, the team's defender."
