Moroccan international player Abderrazak Hamdallah continued to boost his goal tally in the Saudi league, scoring the only goal for Al-Taawoun against Al-Ettifaq in a match that ended in a 1-1 draw during the twelfth round of the Roshan League.

The Moroccan striker was the one who gave Al-Taawoun the lead in the match, successfully converting a penalty into a goal in the 26th minute, once again highlighting his scoring ability and impact, despite the difficult circumstances his team faces in the competition.

This goal gave Hamdallah a new opportunity to enhance his historical records, raising his goal contributions in the Roshan League to 185, keeping him at the top of the list of players with the most goal contributions in the league's history.

The Moroccan striker is now just one goal away from equaling the record for the top scorer in the history of the Saudi Professional League, held by Syrian Omar Al-Somah with 161 goals, while Hamdallah has scored 160 goals, awaiting what the upcoming matches will bring.

On a collective level, Hamdallah's goal was not enough for Al-Taawoun to secure their first victory this season, as Abdullah Al-Khatib equalized for Al-Ettifaq in the 90th minute, leading to the loss of two additional points for the home team in the final moments of the match.

With this result, Al-Taawoun raised its tally to five points in 17th place, while Al-Ettifaq reached 19 points in 7th place, as Hamdallah continues to chase Al-Somah's historic record, looking forward to the opportunity to embrace the top scorer title in the league's history.
