Adamo Nagalo will not be on the pitch for PSV this season due to a medical issue. This was reported by Eindhovens Dagblad and De Telegraaf regarding the Burkinabé international.
This is also the reason why his transfer to FK Çorum in Turkey failed. A termination of his contract is now under consideration.
Currently, no specific information is available on this matter, according to De Telegraaf. PSV also refuses to comment on Nagalo's health status, citing respect for his privacy.
However, it is clear that the Burkinabé defender will not be on the field this season. Peter Bosz has rarely used him, even when he was in good physical condition.
This right-footed player joined PSV from Nordsjaelland in mid-2024 for a hefty sum of seven million euros, but has struggled to establish himself since. He was loaned to Konyaspor in Turkey during the second half of last season.
Nagalo returned to PSV this summer, where a permanent transfer was hoped for. However, due to an unspecified injury, this could not materialize.
Nagalo is no longer listed among the players on PSV's official website and did not appear in the team photo taken this week. The termination of his contract, which still has three years remaining, is a serious option, according to both newspapers.
As a result, Nagalo's adventure in Eindhoven seems to be coming to an end. The Burkinabé defender has played only 12 matches in PSV colors.
