After a Wave of Criticism, Aouar Receives Special Award in the Saudi League
Algerian international Houssem Aouar has been awarded Man of the Match for his performance in Ittihad Jeddah's game against Abha in the Roshen Saudi League.
Aouar managed to redeem himself after a period of criticism from the Saudi media and a long stretch without scoring in the Saudi football season.
He succeeded in scoring a dramatic equalizer for his team during today's match, at a time when the team is struggling with poor performance and negative results.
This positive response from the Lyon academy graduate could play a significant role in his return to the national team during the upcoming training camp, and he may gain the trust of coach Ibrahim Hamdani and his assistant Antar Yahya, which could lead them to reconsider calling him up to the squad.
