JS Kabylie achieved an important victory in their campaign in the Algerian Ligue Professionnelle 1, defeating their guests El Abiar 1-0 in the top match of round eight held at the late Hussein Aït Ahmed Stadium.

The winning goal for JS Kabylie came from the impressive Bilal Masoudi in the 59th minute, converting a penalty after a serious error by the opposing team. The Kabylie team benefited from the return of striker Bilal Masoudi to form, while they await the recovery of teammates like Ayman Mahious, and confirmation from the newcomer from CR Belouizdad, Ihab Belhasini, who is delivering a fantastic performance.

Meanwhile, ES Sétif secured a thrilling win at the Mohamed Boudjellal Stadium, defeating their hosts Olympique de Chlef 2-1.
