Ahmed El-Sayed, the former star of Al Ahly, confirmed that the team needs to give opportunities to several players and develop them, especially given the injuries the team is currently facing.
El-Sayed stated during his comments on the program "Number One," hosted by journalist Mohamed Shobana and aired on CBC: "There are many players we need to see play due to the injuries as well."
He added: "You need to play with the starting lineup and prepare everyone. I believe Ahmed Eid will play in the Cairo Capital Cup, and we will see Akram in midfield."
He continued: "Bengida could be given a chance, as you have an opportunity to develop players while also competing for the title."
Regarding Ibrahim Adel, he said: "Al Ahly has tried several times with Ibrahim Adel, and there have been several negotiations. He dreams of moving to Al Ahly."
El-Sayed concluded his remarks by saying: "Big teams need a large number of players in the same position."
