Ahmed El-Sayed: Yasser Ibrahim's departure will leave an impact on Al Ahly's defense

Ahmed El-Sayed, the former Al Ahly star, reported that the club's management is currently working on a new strategy to set salary limits. He noted that Imam Ashour renewed his contract under this system, and he expects an agreement with Yasser Ibrahim regarding his contract renewal.

El-Sayed stated during his remarks on the "Number One" program hosted by journalist Mohamed Shobana and aired on CBC: "Not every player who wants to renew with Al Ahly can set conditions. The club is currently operating correctly by establishing a specific salary cap."

Al Ahly does not rely on any player

He added: "Imam Ashour renewed according to the club's new policy, and all players will renew under the same system. Al Ahly does not depend on any player, and there are defensive errors in the backline despite Yasser Ibrahim's presence."

He continued: "Al Ahly has set a specific salary cap and is working within this framework. I believe that Al Ahly will reach an agreement with Yasser Ibrahim in the near future."

He further stated: "Yasser Ibrahim is an important player for the club, and I hope he stays with the team. There will be a solution between the two parties for renewal, and Al Ahly's defense cannot afford to lose the player, but a contract renewal may happen for a player who causes issues in the dressing room."

He clarified: "The offer presented to Yasser Ibrahim is very suitable, and he will receive part of his salary, while the other part is linked to championships."

Ahmed El-Sayed also spoke about Mohamed Abdel-Moneim and Rami Rabia, saying: "Mohamed Abdel-Moneim is a very distinguished player, and his performance is excellent. He is relied upon in defense, and I am also convinced of Rami Rabia. I opposed the idea of him leaving Al Ahly, as he is a strong player."

He concluded: "We are working at Al Ahly to develop the youth sector to promote some talents to the first team, and we have contracted with a foreign expert for this purpose."
