Ahmed Fattouh, the left-back for Zamalek SC, has teased the White Castle fans ahead of contract renewal talks with the club, which expire at the end of this season.
Fattouh posted two pictures of himself in Zamalek's jersey on his official Instagram account, accompanied by two white hearts, in a message to the club's supporters before finalizing his decision on staying with the team in the upcoming period.
Zamalek's management has decided to postpone discussions about Ahmed Fattouh's contract renewal until after the match against Al Ahly, scheduled for the sixth round of the Egyptian Premier League, to ensure maximum calm and focus for the team before the derby.
The club is keen to retain Ahmed Fattouh in the squad, especially given the player's importance to the coaching staff, as they recently rejected an offer from Al Ahli Benghazi for the left-back's services.
Zamalek officials have informed the player and his agent of the club's desire to keep him, stating there is no intention to agree to his departure at this time or during the upcoming winter transfer window.
Ahmed Fattouh's contract with Zamalek ends at the conclusion of the current season, and he is eligible to sign with any other club starting in January if no agreement is reached regarding his renewal, making the upcoming period crucial in determining the player's future with the White Castle.
