Al Ahly clarifies the situation regarding Imam Ashour: the player is regularly attending training, and his absence is due to technical reasons.

Al Ahly has clarified the situation regarding the absence of Imam Ashour, the first-team football player, from recent matches. The club issued an official statement confirming that the player is fully participating in training and is not suffering from any injury.

Al Ahly stated through its official accounts that Imam Ashour is regularly training and has no injuries, indicating that his absence from matches is due solely to technical reasons.

The statement came after Imam Ashour was excluded from the squad for the match against المقاولون العرب, scheduled for this evening, Monday, as part of the second round of the group stage of the Cairo Cup, marking the player's third consecutive match absence.

Imam Ashour had previously missed matches against Ugandan side Kittara in the CAF Confederation Cup and Modern Sport in the league, having been left out of the plans by the coaching staff led by Hussein Amouta.

Al Ahly's clarifications confirm that the player's absence is not related to medical reasons or issues with training consistency, but rather to the technical choices made by the team's head coach.
