Al Ahly decides on Gulf offers for Bencherki.

A reliable source within Al Ahly SC has confirmed that reports about Moroccan international Achraf Bencherki receiving offers from Gulf clubs ahead of the upcoming winter transfer window are untrue. The source indicated that the team has not yet received any official offers from Saudi Pro League clubs or other Gulf leagues.

The source, according to Egyptian media reports, stated that the news regarding Gulf clubs' interest in the Moroccan player is not based on official information and considered the circulating rumors as speculation that does not reflect the reality within the Cairo club.

The same sources mentioned that Bencherki continues to focus on his commitments with Al Ahly, while the coaching staff aims to maintain team stability and avoid any side discussions that might affect the players' readiness in the upcoming period.

Regarding the future of the Moroccan international, reports indicated that Al Ahly's management has decided to postpone discussions about renewing his contract, which expires at the end of the current football season, until after completing several important local and continental commitments, with financial and contractual details to be discussed at a later stage.

On another note, Al Ahly's coaching staff, led by Hussein Amouta, is keen on retaining Bencherki, as they do not wish to lose his services mid-season due to his value within the team and the role he can play in the title race, making a departure during the winter transfer window unlikely at this time.

The situation of the Moroccan player remains open to several possibilities in the coming months, awaiting the start of official negotiations regarding the extension of his stay with the Egyptian club, and revealing both parties' positions on the terms of the new contract, amid ongoing uncertainty about his future after the current season ends.
