Victory for the Army and a Rout for Hassania Agadir
The Royal Army secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Wydad Témara on Thursday at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, during the third round of the professional league. The first half ended in a goalless draw, before Youssef El Fahli broke the deadlock with a goal in the 60th minute, allowing the military team to maintain their lead until the final whistle, despite Wydad Témara's attempts to equalize.
In another match of the same round, Hassania Agadir achieved a significant victory against their hosts, Nahda Zemamra, with a score of 5-2 at the Ahmed Choukri Stadium in Zemamra. Ayoub Benaddi opened the scoring for Hassania in the 10th minute, but Jawad Al-Saghir equalized just four minutes later. James Monday Ajakou then put Zemamra ahead with a penalty in the 25th minute, only for Imad Rihani to bring the match back to level terms in the 41st minute.
Benaddi struck again to net the third goal for Hassania Agadir in stoppage time of the first half, before Imad Rihani added a fourth in the 65th minute. Abdelali Ait Ibrahime capped off the team's five-goal tally in the 85th minute, confirming Hassania's dominance in this encounter with a final score of 5-2.
