Al Ahly successfully overcame Heliopolis at the start of their journey in the Handball Professional League.

African champions assert their dominance from the start, beginning their delayed journey in the competition

Al Ahly's first appearance in the league was delayed, reaching the fifth round due to the team's strong participation in the recent African Clubs Championship held in Angola, where they claimed the prestigious title after a historic and thrilling victory over their traditional rivals Zamalek in the final match.

Despite the fatigue that often follows major continental tournaments, Al Ahly's players managed to control the match against Heliopolis from the first minutes until the final whistle, demonstrating their offensive and defensive superiority to secure their first victory in the domestic league and delight their large fanbase.
