Belouizdad Triumphs Over El Eulma, Extends Lead
CR Belouizdad continued to showcase strong performances in the current season of the professional league, securing a 3-2 victory against host El Eulma on Monday in the opening match of the fifth round.
The "Aouinet" players started the match aggressively, with Mohamed Ali Ben Hamouda scoring in the first minute, capitalizing on a mistake between El Eulma's goalkeeper Zidan and defender Oubaidat.
Kareem Aribi equalized in the tenth minute, following a passing error from goalkeeper Farid Chaal.
Belouizdad regained the lead with Bouali's goal in the thirty-sixth minute, after a quick counter-attack and a decisive pass from Farid Melali.
In the second half, Aribi scored his second goal for El Eulma in the fifty-sixth minute with a precise header that deceived goalkeeper Chaal.
However, Melali decided the match in favor of "CRB" by scoring the third goal in the sixty-ninth minute, following a key pass from Ben Ayada.
With this victory, Belouizdad maintains its unbeaten streak, having drawn in the opening round against Olympique de Chlef, followed by four consecutive wins. This places them at the top of the league with 13 points, temporarily six points ahead of their closest rivals.
