Yakiruvich Explains Why Beloumi Was Left Out of the Starting Lineup!
Sergei Yakiruvich, the coach of Hull City, explained why Algerian international Bashir Beloumi was not included in the starting lineup for the match against Everton on Sunday.
Beloumi came on as a substitute in this match, which was part of the sixth round of the Premier League, and managed to score a goal, ending the match in a 2-2 draw.
After the match, Yakiruvich was asked, in statements reported by BBC Radio, about the reason for Beloumi's exclusion from the starting lineup. He replied: “He came to me on Friday and told me he felt tired, in addition to having done a lot of traveling.”
The Hull City coach added: “Beloumi is a young player and has suffered from some injuries in the past. But he is an excellent player and capable of making a difference.”
It is worth noting that the Algerian player has made five goal contributions in the first six rounds, scoring 3 goals and providing 2 assists, making him the fifth most involved player in goals in the current edition of the Premier League.
