ES Sétif Decides to Part Ways with Egyptian Coach Hamada Sedki
The management of ES Sétif has decided to terminate the contract of Egyptian coach Hamada Sedki following the team's poor start in the professional league for the current 2026-2027 season.
Under the Egyptian coach, who joined the team last summer, ES Sétif has had disappointing results in the first six matches of this season. The team suffered three defeats, the latest being last Saturday at home against newly promoted Chabab Ain Temouchent, losing 1-2 in the seventh round.
The team managed to secure only one victory along with two draws. The attack scored 7 goals, while international goalkeeper Alexander Oukidja conceded 6 goals. The "Black Eagle" currently sits in twelfth place with 5 points and a postponed match.
The management announced an emergency meeting on Sunday at the club's headquarters, attended by the Egyptian coach, to discuss the possibility of ending the association with him and his coaching staff due to the negative results recorded.
Furthermore, the ES Sétif management confirmed that they will review all aspects related to the situation before making a decision that serves the best interests of the club and its fans.
