Former Al Ahly star Alaa Miheub believes that current Al Ahly coach Hussein Ammouta will not rely on Hussein El Shahat as a starter in the upcoming match against Zamalek in the league.
Miheub stated during the On Sport program: "I see that Hussein El Shahat will be on the bench and will not participate in the starting lineup despite his brilliance in previous derby matches."
He added: "I expect Zizo to shine in the derby match along with Benjedida. Scoring a goal gives a player confidence, and a striker is evaluated based on the quality of their performance but also on the number of goals. Goals in derby matches remain memorable and elevate a player's status."
Egyptian football fans in general, and supporters of both Al Ahly and Zamalek in particular, are eagerly awaiting the Egyptian classic that brings the two teams together in the sixth round of the league after the international break.
Match Date for Al Ahly vs Zamalek
The sixth round of the Egyptian league will feature the Egyptian and African classic, as Al Ahly faces Zamalek at 8 PM next Sunday, October 11, at Cairo International Stadium, marking the 133rd match in the history of the derby.
