Oct 17, 2026

The Algerian forward continues to attract attention in Norway. His recent performances with Rosenborg have been rewarded with an individual accolade that highlights his rise in form. The Algerian international has been named the best player in the Norwegian league for the month of September by the specialized site FotMob, a recognition that showcases his contributions during this period.

This award reflects the growing influence of the young striker within his team. Over the past month, Chiakha has particularly stood out for his efficiency in front of goal, delivering solid performances and actively contributing to his team's offensive plays. His statistics also played a role in this recognition, with four goals scored and one assist provided in September.

These numbers illustrate the player's development, as he aims to gain consistency and establish himself in the Norwegian football scene. Capable of influencing opposing defenses with his skills in the box, the Algerian seems to be gradually adapting to his new environment.

This individual award also serves as encouragement for the remainder of the season. At his age, each performance represents an additional opportunity to gain experience and continue his development, both technically and in his understanding of the game. With Rosenborg, Chiakha benefits from a supportive environment to keep progressing and to confirm the potential he has shown.

Beyond this recognition, his performances are also closely monitored back in Algeria, where young talents playing abroad represent interesting options for the future of the national team. The same goes for many top European clubs, who are keeping a close eye on the player, with strong chances of taking action during the next transfer window.

Now, the challenge for Chiakha will be to maintain this momentum over the coming weeks. After a particularly fruitful September, the Algerian forward must confirm his form to continue his progression and further establish himself in the colors of Rosenborg.
