Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz disclose their plans for an F1 boys' getaway.

Williams teammates Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz have shared that a select group of Formula 1 drivers plans to take a boys' trip during the interval between the Bahrain Grand Prix (in Malaysia) and the Singapore Grand Prix.
The rescheduling of the Bahrain Grand Prix to the Sepang International Circuit, due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, provides the drivers with the opportunity to remain in Asia rather than returning to their home bases.
"We're going to have like a boys' trip, I guess," Albon mentioned in an interview at the Fan Zone prior to the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. "I think there are a few drivers with whom we're going to hang out."
Sainz added: "Yeah, it's going to be [a boys' trip]. We just noticed that no one is bringing their girlfriend. But it’s not like we’re going to do anything thrilling. We’ll just be at a resort in the middle of nowhere."
This comes during a crucial weekend for the Grove team, as they unveil a significant upgrade package for the FW48. After arriving at pre-season testing in Bahrain with an overweight vehicle, the team has focused on a B-spec car for Baku.
With the enhanced equipment, Sainz and Albon qualified in ninth and 13th positions, respectively. However, Sainz will begin the race from 14th due to a five-place grid penalty for not reducing speed under yellow flag conditions.
Alongside the grid penalty, the Spaniard received two penalty points, raising his total to four points within the last 12 months.
Sainz and Albon are currently positioned 16th and 17th in the drivers' championship, accumulating six and five points, respectively.
The Azerbaijan Grand Prix at the Baku City Circuit is set to commence shortly at 3pm local time (noon UK time).
