Algeria: The first players of the national team arrive in Algiers (video)

The September gathering of the Greens has officially begun. Several Algerian internationals were spotted arriving in Algiers before joining Brahim Hemdani's squad.

The Algeria national team's gathering for the September international break has officially started. This Sunday, the first images of the players called up by Brahim Hemdani began circulating from Houari Boumediene International Airport. A first group including Adem Zorgane, Jaouen Hadjam, Ahmed Touba, Adil Aouchiche, Sohaib Nair, and Ilan Kebbal was seen upon their arrival in Algiers.

Shortly after, another clip showed the arrival of two players from Olympique de Marseille selected for this gathering. Himad Abdelli and Amine Gouiri also joined the Algerian capital before reuniting with the rest of the team. The two players arrived after facing Paris Saint-Germain with OM on Saturday night.

Mohamed Amoura was also spotted at Houari Boumediene Airport. The OGC Nice forward joins the Greens for this first training camp led by Brahim Hemdani. The former Wolfsburg player is among the offensive assets the new coach hopes to rely on as he begins his tenure with the national team.

Finally, other internationals have also arrived in Algiers, including goalkeeper Melvin Mastil, Amin Chiakha, and Ibrahim Maza. Arrivals will continue gradually before the start of training sessions. Brahim Hemdani will then have his squad available to prepare for the first matches of this international break.
