Amouta prepares to give Hamza Alaoui a chance to guard the goal for Al Ahly in the Cairo Capital Cup.
Moroccan coach Hussein Ammouta, the head coach of Al Ahly, has decided to prepare Hamza Ala for participation in the Cairo Capital Cup matches that the Red Devils will begin after the current international break.
Rotation between El Shenawy, Shouber, and Hamza
Hamza Ala has not participated in Al Ahly's matches this season, as Ammouta relies on the duo of Mustafa Shouber and Mohamed El Shenawy in goal. However, the head coach has decided to give Hamza Ala the opportunity to join the team for the Cairo Capital Cup, where they will face Petrojet in their first match.
League Suspension
The Egyptian league is currently on hold due to the international break, during which the Egyptian national team will play two matches against Angola in Cairo and South Sudan at their home ground in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on September 25 and 29, as well as a friendly match against South Africa on October 4 in Cairo.
Training in Two Sessions and Two Friendlies
Al Ahly resumed training last Monday evening after a four-day break, and the coaching staff decided to conduct training sessions in two shifts, morning and evening, for a week, while scheduling two friendly matches. The first match will be against Libyan team Al Ittihad on September 28, and the second against Misr El Makasa on October 2.
Rescheduling the Petrojet Match
Wael Gomaa, the club's director of football, stated that the coaching staff made adjustments to the team's preparation program after the match between Al Ahly and Petrojet in the Cairo Capital Cup was moved up to October 7 instead of October 8.
Clash Date
Al Ahly will face Zamalek on October 11 at Cairo Stadium at 8 PM as part of the sixth round of the Premier League.
