Morocco will be in the spotlight at the 2026 Ballon d'Or ceremony, which will take place this Monday in London. Achraf Hakimi, Ayyoub Bouaddi, and Yassine Bounou are nominated for the men's award, best young player, and best goalkeeper, respectively.
This evening, organized by France Football and UEFA, will feature talents such as Harry Kane, Lamine Yamal, and Kylian Mbappé, who aim to succeed Ousmane Dembélé, the 2025 winner.
Juries made up of specialized journalists will assess the athletes based on their individual performances, collective results, and conduct on the field. The ceremony will also highlight important figures in women's football, coaches, clubs, and social initiatives through the Sócrates award.
