Berkane secures qualification to the group stage of the Champions League with another victory.

RS Berkane secured their place in the group stage of the CAF Champions League after achieving a new victory over their guests, Star Sport Academy, with a score of 1-0 in the match held this evening at the Municipal Stadium in Berkane, as part of the second preliminary round return leg.

The orange team started the match strongly, threatening the visitors' goal from the fourth minute with two dangerous attempts by Youssef Mehyri and Osama El Milioui, showcasing the home team's intent to settle matters early.

In the tenth minute, RS Berkane players appealed for a penalty after El Milioui fell inside the box, but the referee did not award it, and the match continued without a change in the score, despite the ongoing attacking pressure from the Berkane team, which sought to open the scoring during the remainder of the first half, but their attempts did not result in any goals.

At the start of the second half, the Berkane team continued to pressure the opponent's defense until Youssef Mehyri managed to score the only goal of the match in the 52nd minute with a powerful shot that found the back of the net, giving the home team the lead.

After the goal, RS Berkane maintained control of the match and continued their attacking pressure to extend the lead, but the remaining attempts did not yield additional goals, and the match ended with the orange team winning 1-0.

With this victory, RS Berkane demonstrated their superiority over their opponent, having previously won the first leg 2-0, thus ensuring their qualification for the group stage with an aggregate score of 3-0.
