Officially, the "Lionesses" qualify for the Round of 16 in the "World Cup."

The "Atlas Lionesses" under 17 team successfully secured their spot in the Round of 16 of the Women's World Cup (Morocco 2026), after confirming their position among the top four third-placed teams in the group stage.

The national team qualified thanks to a goal difference of minus two (-2), surpassing Venezuela and Canada, who both have the same number of points, with Venezuela having a goal difference of minus three (-3) and Canada minus five (-5).

The Moroccan team will have to wait until all group stage matches are completed to know their opponent in the Round of 16, after the qualified teams and matchups for the next round are determined.

In the same context, the Polish team also secured a spot in the Round of 16 as one of the best third-placed teams, benefiting from an equal goal difference, while the remaining two spots for the best third-placed teams will be determined after the completion of the matches in groups five and six.

The tournament format stipulates that the top two teams from each group qualify directly for the Round of 16, along with the best four third-placed teams, completing the total of 16 teams that qualify for this round.
