Bourba: “Realizing a Childhood Dream... I Will Prove I Deserve a Place with the Greens”
The new addition to the national team, Adel Bourba, expressed his immense happiness at realizing his childhood dream and joining the "Greens." He confirmed his determination to make the most of his first gathering to showcase his abilities and prove he deserves the call-up.
The midfielder of French club Le Mans stated today, Tuesday, during the mixed zone with the media: "The childhood dream has come true, and I am very happy to join the national team. I was ready with the Olympic team, and when they called me to join the senior team, I felt great joy at this opportunity."
Regarding his notable performance with Le Mans in Ligue 2, Bourba pointed out that his positive display is primarily due to teamwork, saying: "My good performance with my team is a result of the collective brilliance of the team, and we must continue to work this way."
As for his first test with the national team, Bourba emphasized the importance of good preparation: "Every match is difficult; we must work hard. We spoke with coach Hamdani, and we have an idea of what awaits us and what we need to deliver."
The newcomer also praised the warm welcome he received from the group, confirming that he felt positive vibes since his arrival: "Everyone welcomed me warmly, as if I had been a player with the national team for a long time."
Bourba concluded his remarks by stating that his goal during this first gathering is to learn from the experienced players and make a contribution: "I need to learn from the veterans and perform well, giving my all to prove that I deserve to be with the national team."
