Captain Ibrahim Traoré encourages young Burkinabé athletes not to neglect their studies while pursuing their passion for sports. Speaking to the youth, the President of Faso urged them to draw inspiration from the example of Hugues Fabrice Zango, the world champion in triple jump. Zango's journey demonstrates that it is indeed possible to balance education and a sports career.
“It is essential to continue working in school. Do not give up, as it is very crucial. You see, there is a great athlete, Hugues Fabrice Zango. He is a world-class athlete. But did you know he is a doctor? He works in the electricity sector,” said Ibrahim Traoré.
The head of state then urged the youth to pursue their education while striving to achieve their sports ambitions. “You too, persevere with determination. Keep learning everything related to the training or profession you are engaged in, while fully embracing your passion for football,” he affirmed.
Ibrahim Traoré also promised his support to young athletes in their journey. “And I commit to accompany you and help you achieve your goals and proudly represent the colors of Burkina Faso,” he concluded.
