The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) will hold a hearing on October 8, 2026, in Lausanne, Switzerland, regarding the appeal by the Senegalese Football Federation against CAF and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, following CAF's decision to award the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final to Morocco by a score of 3-0 due to forfeit.
The hearing will be conducted behind closed doors. CAS specifies that, since the parties did not request an expedited procedure, the process will follow the usual timeline. After the hearings, the arbitration panel will begin its deliberations.
No judgment will be issued on October 8. CAS also adds that no date for the decision can be communicated at this stage.
