The national team coach Mohamed Wahbi revealed today, Thursday, September 17, the list of players who will represent Morocco in the upcoming matches during a press conference held at the Mohammed VI football complex in Salé.
These matches include the first and second rounds of the African qualifiers for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, as well as a friendly match scheduled against the Ghanaian team in the city of Tangier.
Wahbi's selection includes a core of experienced players, along with several young talents eager to make their mark on the team.

Goalkeepers: Yassine Bounou, Munir Mohamedi, Reda Tagnaouti, Alaa Belarouch.
Defenders: Issa Diop, Nayef Aguerd, Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal, Anas Salaheddine, Noussair Mazraoui, Ali Maamar, Marouane Saadane, Redouane Halhal, Achraf Hakimi, Zakaria El Ouahidi.
Midfielders: Ayoub Bouadi, Samir Mourabit, Nael El Aynaoui, Oussama Terghaline, Bilal El Khannous, Soufiane El Faouzi, Ezzedine Ounahi, Ismail Essibari.

The Moroccan national team will kick off its qualification campaign by facing Gabon on Friday, September 25, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, followed by an away match against Lesotho on the 29th of the same month in Bloemfontein, South Africa.
The national team's schedule also includes a friendly match against Ghana in Tangier, as part of the group's preparations for the upcoming competitions.
