Excluded from the September gathering following an incident during the Algeria-Zambia match (3-1), Rayan Aït-Nouri is unlikely to be included in the next selection of the Fennecs. The main reason is the absence of an apology from the Manchester City left-back, despite requests from the coaching staff.

According to information reported by La Gazette du Fennec, the player was expected to apologize for his behavior during this CAF Africa Cup of Nations 2027 qualifying match. A public statement had even been considered, but several weeks after the incident, Aït-Nouri has yet to speak out.

Sources close to the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) indicate that the defender also did not offer any private apologies. This situation has led Brahim Hemdani to exclude him from his plans for the November gathering, during which Algeria will face Togo twice.

However, the coach had set a clear condition to close this chapter: an apology from the player. In the absence of this, the dispute between the two parties remains unresolved.
