Senegal begins preparations for the U23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The Lions of Teranga start a training camp with 25 selected players this Tuesday.

In a letter dated September 14 addressed to club presidents, the Senegalese Football Federation revealed the list of summoned players. Under the guidance of coach Serigne Saliou Dia, the team will refine its tactical strategies. The list includes new talents such as El Hadj Malick Gueye, Ousseynou Mandian, and Mamadou Lamine Ba.

Senegal has received a bye in the first round of the qualifiers. In the second round, they will face the winner of the match between Djibouti and South Sudan. The Lions have not participated in the last two editions and are eager to reclaim their place.
