National team striker, Ameen Chikha, expressed his great joy at returning to the "Greens," confirming his commitment to work hard to deliver the best performance possible in the upcoming period.

Chikha stated during his talk in the mixed zone on Tuesday evening at the National Technical Center in Sidi Moussa, in preparation for the matches against Zambia and Burundi in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers: “I am grateful for my return to the national team; I must continue on this path by scoring goals.”

The Rosenborg striker indicated that he is working hard with his club to improve his level and better prepare for the upcoming challenges: “I want to showcase my abilities and do everything I can, and I am ready to learn more and give my best.”

Chikha also spoke about his absence from the national team during the last World Cup, confirming that he remained committed to the "Greens" despite not being present in that competition, and explained that he supported the national team during the World Cup matches even though he was not on the roster.

Chikha is preparing with the national team for the matches against Zambia and Burundi on the upcoming Friday and Tuesday, respectively, as part of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
