Dkik explains the benefits of the "Hall of Lions"

Hicham Dakiq Highlights Gains of "Lions of the Hall"
Moroccan national futsal coach Hicham Dakiq confirmed that maintaining performance levels and focus throughout the match was one of the key reasons that led the "Lions of the Hall" to a resounding victory over the Libyan national team, winning 6-0, and ensuring a perfect finish in the group stage of the Africa Cup of Nations.
In statements to the press after the match held on Friday, October 16, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Hall in Rabat, the coach explained that the positive result was not the only goal for the team; it was also an opportunity to enhance tactical discipline and maintain the same rhythm from the start of the match until the final whistle.
Dakiq noted that the encounter against Libya was not without its challenges, despite the apparent score difference, explaining that matches where the opponent plays without pressure can present unique challenges, especially when they have nothing to lose, which prompted the coaching staff to prepare for various scenarios.
The Moroccan coach emphasized that his team adhered to their usual attacking style while managing the flow of the game appropriately, stating that effectively handling the events of the match contributed to achieving their third consecutive victory and finishing the first phase of the competition in the best possible manner.
Among the indicators Dakiq pointed out was the Moroccan team's success in completing the group stage without conceding a single goal, having kept a clean sheet against Algeria, Zambia, and Libya.
He considered that this defensive record reflects the efforts made by the team and confirms the importance of balancing offensive effectiveness with defensive solidity.
The national coach also added that while these statistics are significant, they should not overshadow the main objective of continuing to develop and preparing well for the upcoming matches, explaining that more difficult challenges await the team in the knockout stages, where small details become crucial in determining the qualifiers.
Speaking about the development of futsal in Africa, Dakiq confirmed that organizing the Africa Cup of Nations every two years instead of four has provided teams with greater opportunities for interaction and competition, positively impacting the preparation and technical aspects of several participating teams.
The "Lions of the Hall" coach clarified that the continental competition has shown clear progress compared to previous years, as teams are now more prepared and capable of keeping up with the fast pace of matches, adding that the Moroccan staff anticipated this shift and worked to maintain the required level of competitiveness to face various challenges.
The Moroccan national team secured its place in the semifinals of the tournament after topping Group A with nine points, achieving three consecutive victories, starting with a 4-0 win over Algeria, then defeating Zambia 7-0, before concluding the group stage with a sixth goal victory over Libya, confirming their readiness to continue defending their chances in the competition for the continental title.
