Egypt: Benbouali shines in just 15 seconds! (Video)

Back after a notable absence with the national team, the Algerian forward quickly shone in the colors of Pyramids FC. An impressive start to the season in this new adventure.
Nadhir Benbouali wasted no time making an impact. Starting as a forward for Pyramids FC against Canal SC this Wednesday, in the opening match of the Cairo Cup, the Algerian striker found the back of the net just 15 seconds into the game.
From the first offensive plays of his team, Benbouali took advantage of a pass inside the box to find himself in an ideal position. With his right foot, the Algerian international perfectly calibrated his shot and opened the scoring in the very first minute. This quick goal immediately put Pyramids FC in a favorable position.
This goal is especially a promising sign for the player, who was returning to competition after missing the last gathering of the Algerian national team in September due to injury. For his comeback, Benbouali proved to be decisive right from the start.
The former Charleroi player continued to put pressure on the opposing defense during the first half. He could have even scored a second goal in the 31st minute, but his attempt hit the crossbar. Pyramids FC eventually went into halftime with a two-goal lead thanks to Abdelrahman Magdi, who scored the second goal in the 40th minute.
Canal SC, however, reacted after the break and reduced the deficit in the 57th minute. Pyramids regained a two-goal advantage in the 75th minute, before their opponent reignited the suspense in the 83rd.
Despite this thrilling finish, Pyramids FC held on to their lead and triumphed 3-2, securing their first three points in Group B.
