Nabil Kouki's Statements
Kouki said in a phone call with journalist Saif Zaher on the program "Malab On," broadcast on ON Sport channel: "I am working on mentally preparing Al Masry's players for the coming days. Most of the team remains the same since I left, and the changes have not exceeded 20%, so the core structure has not been significantly affected."
The head coach of Al Masry added: "The situation is currently good within the club, and there are many elements of success available. However, Al Masry's players lack confidence due to the results achieved despite their efforts, which makes them go through tough times, especially since the results are not in their favor, and this affects their performance on the pitch."
Kouki spoke about the winter transfer window, emphasizing that acquiring outstanding players during this period is challenging. He said: "Winter transfers are extremely difficult for signing players, as clubs are reluctant to part with their key players, unlike summer transfers, which provide greater opportunities for signings."
The head coach concluded his statements by affirming that his knowledge of the Egyptian football environment, the players, and playing strategies in Egypt will pave the way for him in his mission with Al Masry SC and help him bring the team back to the required level and improve results in the upcoming period.
