Europa League: Zerrouki clinches the win! (video)

Twente secured victory on the opening day of the Europa League group stage by defeating the Swiss side.
Led by their Algerian captain Ramiz Zerrouki, the Reds thought they had taken the lead in the 25th minute through Weidmann, but the goal was disallowed by VAR. Despite dominating the match, the Dutch side had to settle for a draw at halftime.
After the break, things could have gone wrong for Zerrouki, who received a yellow card following a challenge with Kristal, before the referee was called to review the footage.
There were fears of a harsher penalty for the Algerian, but surprisingly, the Kosovar Genc Nuza overturned the yellow card and ultimately sent off an opposing player for stepping on his opponent's foot!
Five minutes later, the same Zerrouki regained possession before passing to his left winger, he was then set up by a backheel from Weidmann, and unleashed a stunning curled shot from the edge of the box into the far corner of the net, scoring the only goal of the match (65th).
Victory 1-0 and the first goal of the season for the Algerian. Twente also sits in fourth place in the league, behind Feyenoord, PSV, and AZ.
