A new era officially begins for the supreme authority of football in the Republic of the Congo. In a statement released this Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from Brazzaville, the Congolese Football Federation (FECOFOOT) announced the holding of the transition ceremony at the top of its leadership.
This event will mark the official handover between outgoing president Henri Edzanga and newly elected president Alain Éric Mantot. This ceremonial transfer of power is scheduled for Thursday, October 1, 2026, starting at 1:00 PM, at the FECOFOOT headquarters in Brazzaville.
To ensure the smooth running of this major institutional event, the federal body specified that access to the premises will be strictly limited to invited and accredited media.
