Fernando Alonso enhances his "incredible" car collection with a stunning chrome Bugatti Veyron.
Two-time Formula 1 champion Fernando Alonso has been seen acquiring a new chrome-wrapped Bugatti 16.4 Veyron Grand Sport.
Alonso has added to his already remarkable private car collection, which is believed to feature a Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR and a Pagani Zonda Verde Diamante, with this latest hypercar.
The Bugatti 16.4 Veyron Grand Sport boasts an 8.0-litre, quad-turbocharged W16 engine that originally delivered 1001 horsepower, while later versions generated 1200 horsepower. It accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in merely 2.5 seconds and can achieve a maximum speed of 407km/h.
Alonso has moved away from the traditional two-tone look for a striking chrome wrap.
Videos of the Spaniard collecting his new vehicle circulated on social media, with many fans praising his choices. "His collection is incredible!!" one fan remarked on Instagram, while another added: "Bro collecting hypercars like Pokémon."
This comes after the first Spanish Grand Prix at the newly inaugurated Madring circuit. Alonso finished in 17th place while his Aston Martin teammate Lance Stroll had to retire from the race.
The Silverstone team is having a challenging 2026 F1 season thus far. They rolled out a B-spec car at the Hungarian Grand Prix, with additional upgrades to their power unit introduced at the Dutch Grand Prix.
Aston Martin is currently positioned 10th in the constructors' championship with three points, just ahead of the newly established Cadillac team.
