Guery's Injury Ends His Stint with the National Team in This Camp
The Algerian Football Federation announced that national team striker, Amine Gouiri, will miss the remainder of the current training camp after sustaining an injury during the match against Zambia in the first round of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The federation stated in a press release that medical examinations conducted on Gouiri this Saturday morning confirmed he has a muscle tear in his left thigh, requiring several days of rest.
As a result, the striker will be absent from the upcoming match against Burundi and the friendly against Niger, as he will leave the national team camp tomorrow morning to begin his recovery period.
